i am interested to do pomegranite cultivation plz tell me the details yield per acre,how many plants required for 1 acre,market ,which variety is good .....

Now a days pomegranate cultivation is very familiar and profitable .The "Bahawa" variety is familiar among the farmers.We have refined and improved breed promoted by us.The is called "Bahawa Giant Nandini"having much salient features like yield pattern,rich red colours of fruits and kernels.We can accommodate nearly 450 saplings in one acre in the spacing dimension of 12'x8'.
