Panchagavya as nutrient in cocopeat

Hi,

Can panchagavya or Amritjal (duly filtered and diluted in water) be used in Cocopeat as nutrient solution ? (few days back I added organic manure directly in cocopeat and it has created fungal growth.)

Secondly, I am able to germinate seeds in cocopeat easily, but growth is very slow. Even after 2 months of trying unable to grow vegitables satisfactorily. What to do?

If anybody can help pls let me know.

thanks

Avinash

HI

You can apply panchagavya, but the quantity matters. Just sprinkle a few drops and dont ad to much of the solution bcoz it causes fungal rot. YOu can also treat it with bio pesticides or fungicides before applying. Growth is a little slow in cocopeat. TAke the seed material used and cocopeat used to the nearest KVk or agri depatment. They will let u knoww if there is any problem
