The Uttarakhand Organic Commodity Board was set up the State nodal agency for Organic Farming, The Board’s objective is to provide service and knowledge to the different sectoral land-based extension departments of the State to promote organics. The Board is the human resource centre for organics. It has trained and experienced personnel for production, certification, marketing as well as rural developments. Organic board also provide the training of organic farming, compost making.
Recently U.O.C.B. has brought out a publication on rich as biodiversity and on organic storage system. The publication details are follows :
