ONE DAY IN-FARM TRAINING IN GOAT FARMING by Vijay Farms, Thirunandipuram, 30-09-2012
We, VIJAY FARMS, THIRUNANDHIPURAM, VILLUPURAM DISTRICT, are engaged in breeding and research on Boer goats for the past 5 years. Our mission is to produce high quality, fast growing, genetically superior Boer breeding stock and supply to the upcoming goat farms.
Presently, we are conducting
One-day Infarm Training in Scientific Goat Farming.
The sessions include
1.Theoretical classes with the help of Powerpoint Presentation in A/C Hall
2. Practical classes in the Farm with 400 goats, which demonstrates the daily routine of a farm
3. Fodder Visit in which Fodder Varieties and Cultivation is demonstrated
The topics discussed in the class are:
1. Why Goat Farming?
2. Stall – Fed Method
3. Financial Planning/Bank Loans/Insurance
4. Fodder Crop Cultivation
5. Shed Construction
6. Equipments required
7. Breed Selection
8. Feed Management
9. Breeding Management
10. Kids rearing
11. Disease Management
12. Other Routine care
13. Marketing Strategies
14. Risk Factors
15. Record Keeping
16. Software for Record Keeping
What is special about our training? How we differ from other training classes about Goat Farming?
Unlike other trainings conducted widely, we concentrate mainly in PRACTICAL TRAINING SESSIONS IN OUR OWN HITECH FARM WITH 400 GOATS and FODDER FIELDS.
Training Cost : Rs.2000 / Person
(Includes Lunch,Tea and Snacks)
For confirmation : 50 % or full payment to be sent to the following Bank Account.
Training Timings : 09.00 am to 05.30 pm .
Venue : Vijay Farms ,Thirunandhipuram,Villupuram.
