Sub: News from The Institute of Simplified Hydroponics, Bangalore
It’s been a very long time since ISH appeared on this portal. The reason being ISH was busy with spreading Soil-less Cultivation/Hydroponics in India and with great success.
1.The ISH has successfully trained more than 400 students in Hydroponics/Soil-less Cultivation from across India since Jan 2009.
2.ISH participated at the recent Agri-Intex 2009 exhibition between 2-5 Oct 2009 at the Codissia Exhibition center at Coimbatore and it was a thumping success. ISH will as part of its “Look outwards, Spread evenly” strategy, begin training for students in TN at Coimbatore from Nov 2009.
2a. ISH also presented a paper on "Soil-less Cultivation/Hydroponics and its relevance to the present Indian Agri scenario" which was well received by a discerning audience.
3.ISH has appointed it’s first franchisee in Kerala State based at Calicut in Aug 2009. A recognition of its potential in India.
4.ISH has received more than 12 Franchise enquiries from TN and these are being evaluated and a decision is expected very shortly.
5.In order to Indianise the efforts of ISH a little more, ISH has recently launched its new look website www.petbharoproject.co.in
