Times of India dated 5.6.12 page 24 Bangalore edition under caption 'Land purchase rules eased' carried an article that Goverment of Karnataka has eased rules for purchase of Agriculture land by Non-Agriculrists. The article mentions that Non-Agriculturist whose income is upto 6 lakhs per annum can now buy agriculture land. Earlier income limit was 2 lakhs per annum for buying agriculture land by non agricultrists.
