Need help for Bamboo farming

Me and my friends are looking to start Bamboo farming. We are based out of Pune (Maharashtra). We are looking for help in following areas-
1. What kind of land is suitable for bamboo farming
2. irrigation requirements
3. any legality need to be followed as bamboo is treated as Forest Tree.
4. Market opportunities
5. does Govt provide any help
6. any govt/non govt org providing info/help for Bamboo farming

Our aim is to increase public awareness about this important natural resource. Guidelines for cultivating & managing Bamboos. We are here to help existing growers of Bamboo & encourage farmers for Bamboo plantation. We also supply Bamboo saplings. We are currently having 21 species of Bamboo.
