Need advice ...can Aloe Vera be planted along with Poplar trees..??

Hello, pls advice the same. Or even to matter can any plantation be done along with Poplar tress within.

I have picked a land for aloe vera cultivation but the landlord have planted the poplar trees already and still ready to give the land on lease.

Pls suggest ...do I need to remove the plants or shall I continue with aloe vera as well. what if I go with it then will it have any affect on Aloe Vera growth..??
