aloe vera economics

Aloe vera is a 10 month crop, it can be extended to next 2-3 years by following fertilizer application and proper watering during the dry season.
Per acre 10,000 plant can be planted with the spacing of 45 cm between plant to plant. But growing with out identifying the buyer is not advisable. If you are able to market on your own, then it is good.
The production cost of Aloe vera
Planting material 6- 8000.00
Land preparation, watering weeding expenses, harvesting expenses: 15000.00
Expense will be around 25,000.00
Revenue : 10 ton fresh biomas is expected. If it is sold @Rs 5 / kg
Rs 50,000
Suckers can also be sold to the growers, it will provide some additional revenue.
Aloe vera is being used for the following uses
1. Clean gel can be mixed with other juices and served.
2. The gel mixed with propylene glycol is used in shampoos, skin creams and soaps.
3. The whole plant is crushed and stored in a closed container for months together in order to crystallize the anthroquinone glycosides present in the aloe skin.(Aloe musamber)
4. The fresh aloe is chopped in to thin slices, sun dried, some buyers prefer this product also.
5. Aloe spray dried powder is having more stability and shelf life. It involves preprocessing equipment

When it is carried out regularly it will show better prospectus.

I am a farmer from western uttar pradesh. My Land is situated about 70 kms from UP-Uttaranchal border. This Land is situated in Indo-Gangetic plains and is composed of fertile alluvial soil. Temperatures range from a low of six degrees to a high of 45 degrees. All Crops ranging from sugercane, rice, wheat, mentha are cultivated, mango and guava orchards are plentiful.

I am curious whether coleus can be cultivated on this land successfully. If it can be cultivated then can i get hold of some farmer who is doing Coleus in any part of UP...

I will be grateful if somebody can guide me related to the expected yield of coleus and methods of cultivation.. Any help in this regard will be highly appreciated.
