Does the Indian government allow Live cattle ( HF & Jersey cows ) to be imported ?

Also are sperm imports (AI) for above cattle allowed ?

Are there any companies in India or elsewhere that specialize in cattle & sperm import into India?

Any inputs will be greatly appreciated....

The govt does not allow imports now a days as of quarantine measures. Only govt departments are importing.Sperm / semen of high yielding bulls is available in India.(of any Breed).
 

In Maharashtra, which would be a government agency or private organization to contact for additional details on acquiring high yielding sperms for AI ?
