What happens to Agricultural land after 5 years, where we harvested Lemon Grass?

I am new to this field , So please guide me. Can it be Harvested in Black Soil (KARISAL SOIL) type .

Also, How much is the rate of Lemon Grass Oil per Kg and how much can we extract every year.

Please Guide me fellows.

I am Planning to Harvest In Virudhunagar District of Tamil Nadu which is too Hot almost Every Year.
 

Hi Essar ,
On my belief,
If you are doing organic then your land will have the same moisture but then Lemongrass will loose it yield after 5 years .I believe red soil with 9 to 7ph level can get a good yielding through out and the water should not be salty .
Oil rate is close to 900rs per liter.
All the above is based on my research and meet ups with researcher's ..
