(1) The Mango orchard, variety Daseri, 15 Acres, Guava 08 acres and Litchi 08 acres, kinnoh 03 acres located adjacent to Beant Engineering University, Gurdaspur, Punjab on National Highway 15, on road Pathankot - Gurdaspur having very high quality of fruits is available to be given on lease for a period of 2 years with provision of extension of the duration with mutual consent.
(2) The mangoes of this orchard are of bigger in size, having nice texture, sweet in taste and of very high quality.
(3) During Mango season two sale counters / shops are opened opposite the mango orchard on both sides of the National Highway 15 i.e Road Pathankot - Gurdaspur. There is a good sale as commuters travelling from Jammu - Pathankot - Gurdaspur - Amritsar purchase these Mangoes from these shops.
(4) The mangoes are exported to various States such as Punjab, Himachal, Haryana, Rajasthan, Delhi, UP and Jammu & Kashmir etc.
(5) The 15 acres of Mango orchard along with other fruits are to be given on lease for a period of 02 years and the approximate rate for Mango orchard is Rs 55,000 to Rs 60,000 per acre per year which is negotiable.
