Karnataka Patta land buying

Dear Sir

I am Interested in Buying Agricultural Land ( Patta Land) in Manipal, Karnataka, on my name and I am from Kerala.

I own agricultural property in kerala and have patta for the same, Is it possible for me to use this document to prove that I am a farmer and I am buying any property for the sole purpose of farming.

Will this land be a problem for my childrens after they inherit since they are not farmers and are employed elsewhere, also I dont understand that what RTC stands for and how to obtain the same.

Any help on this matter would be highly appreciated.

Hello, I dont think u will have any problem in future also, since your are a farmer and your children will be inherited by you thru your will.. Anyway you have to consult an advocate in karnataka.
