If you see mandi prices in internet, you may notice that the price of a commodity varies from mandi to mandi. In many cases the price of a commodity in a mandi is around double of the price of the same commodity in a nearby mandi (100 km away) in same state.
It seems to be a business opportunity. One may buy say 3 tons of vegetables from one and sell it in another mandi. But, the problem is that I have heard there are a lot of lobbying, syndicate and gunda gardi. Will the madni whole sellers buy goods form me? Or suppose I hire a small godown in local market and directly supply to the retail sellers. Any idea, if this business can be done smoothly?
