Green house
Hi, I'm intrested in floriculture on contract basis. What would be the total cost for greenhouse construction per acre.

Though the green house cost varies according to the design and facilities,I am giving you a thumb rule for you to calculate.One hectare is roughly 2.3 acres.In one hectare ,that is 10,000 sq.meter,if you want to build green house,the effective area can be used for green house,is around 8000 sq.mtrs,because of the approach road,and spacing as required.To build one sq.mtr ordinary green house you can take the fig of Rs 550.Then it translates into 42 laks approx.If you convert this to acre it is around 18 laks.If reduce the floor area of green house by having more open place,you can reduce the cost proportionally.Again please note that this is only thump rule.Hope this may help you
