Team, 200 kg quality planting material of improved variety of Jala Brahmi (Bacopa Monnieri) is available immediately for a pickup from Bangalore. Inform if anybody is interested. Rate 350 Rs/kg + transportation and you can make 300 saplings in this one kg planting material. Very reasonable and ideal for commercial cultivation
a. Per acre how much planting material required. You need 150 Kg planting material / acre. However, you do not have to buy in bulk and grow so much. Just buy 10-20 kgs to start in a small patch and propagate / expand after 2 months to expand further. We have done exactly this for Mandukaparni (Centella Asiatica) 2 yrs back. Growing organic and selling those to organic shops
b. How many days/months for harvesting: First cutting 2/3 months and then you can have every month - based on the season
c. Water requirement: Though it is a wetland crop, this is the best cover crop for folks following natural farming. You just water your main crop and then you do not have to water it separately
d. Buyers: Many, just start growing in natural / organic method and I can also buy back from you.
