I want to run my 3 phase agriculture motors/pumps with single phase current. Approx 15 hp load. In Telangana agriculture power is available for 6 hours only (not sufficient for my existing crops) So I was thinking if there is a way to run these pumps with single phase domestic supply (which is available for 10 hours). Anyone has done this before? if so what are the best options available? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I did some research on the internet and found that phase converters are available to convert single phase to 3 phase. There are 3 types of phase converters 1) Static, 2) Rotary 3) Digital.
Not that many suppliers in India available (based on internet search)
Want to find out if there is already any proven method for what I plan to do. Thanks
