The other method is to run the motor for at least 1-2 hours continuously and as the flow is stabilized, measure the yield by using the barrel (200L is usually used) and the time taken to get the container filled. This gives the yield of the bore well and can be applied for irrigation planning. The results may vary depending voltage and season (usually low during summer due to lower recharging...).
