I need to know the variety of teak woods, no. of teak trees can be planted in an acre, the rates of 1cubic log of wood.

Dear sir,
The root/stump rate is very high i think.the thumb size teak stump/root is Rs 5/-per root from assam stated by some honourable senior member in this site.Only three varieties are availiable in teak tectno grandis,tectno mahat & tectno philiphono .these are also stated by some senior member.But in india tectno grandis is the common variety which can be cultivated in large scale by farmers and forest deparment.By planting root/stump cultivation the cultivation period also minimum 25 to 30 years.this also mentined in several times in this site by some senior members.The above mentioned observations by planting root/stump teak cultivation is not possible to get Rs 10000/-per tree .but by opting tissue culture teak saplings instead od stump/root teak is possible to get assued income of Rs 10000/-per tree on completion 10 years onwards.
