We have a bit of a gnat/fly/other flying insect problem and I'm considering getting a carnivorous plant to help resolve it naturally (plus, I've always wanted to have one). How hard is it to maintain one? I live in an apartment with no balcony but enough sunlight, however it does get very hot in the summer since I'm in socal. What are some budget friendly supplies I can use? Any plant recommendations? What are some good techniques you use to keep your plant healthy?
