colocasia roots can br grown in mid-spring (after April 20) or during the rainy season for better establishment.even if they are grown in off season they will establish well if properly watered.The tubers should be planted 3-5 inches (7 to 13 cm) deep and should be at least 4 feet (1.2 m) apart. The plants should be kept moist at all times and fertilized weekly during the growing season.
