Green house cultivation of exotic vegetables - Clarification Needed

I wanted to start cultivation of exotic vegetables in polyhouse near chennai (1 acre) and supply locally. After talking to someone in the hotel management business, I understand that the exotic veg are no longer exotic meaning, there are lot of farmers/corporates are supplying and the volumes of cultivation have to be higher .
In this context, I just wanted to know if is it suggestable for new entrepreneur to get into this. I really have no idea about the current comptetion or demand-supply scenario.. There are lot of consultants where advertising but i'm not seeing actual polyhouse farmers.

Could someone in this field please answer the following

a) What is the viable size for cultivation
b) How is the demand and supply scenario ? Is there a scope for new entrants
c) Location for set up of green house for exotic veg : Is this a factor , as chennai has high temp .
d) Are there similar green houses near chennai? If not, then from where the veg are procured .
