goat farming in tamilnadu

I would like to start goat farming with say 25 animals as a start up and increase the head count slowly using stall fed method. Have around 10 acres of land for greed fodder cultivation.


Could you please help me with a handbook or any softcopy material which covers all the aspects of goat farming (preferably in tamil) ?

Dear dps_india,

please reach out to the nearest KVK and they will have books in Tamil for sales related to everything including Goat Farming.

Also, you can attend the Goat Farming classes free of cost in KVK. I am not sure where you are currently residing but since you are asking for books in Tamil, I assume you are in Tamilnadu and hence request you to buy or read Pasumai Vikatan book and in that they will mention the current calendar for some of the KVKs and the training schedule.
