What is the difference between Grand Naine Banana and other normal suckers Banana culture? Why do you recommend the G9 Banana?
I am planning for 11 acres of cultivation of the G9 Banana as an inter-crop in Arecanut farms. I am going to plant next week.

1.How many plants needed per acre as an intercrop?

For single crop 1200 plants per acre.
To workout the plants per acre in your field please provide the following data like - what is the spacing between arecanut tree. What is the age of the arecanut tree and what about the available sunlight in the arecanut farm.

2.How much it cost me per acre?

The rate of each plant is Rs 10.00 excluding transport cost.

3.After how many months will yield start?
The harvesting starts at 11 or 12 months depending on the climate of the area.

4.What is the yield, when we look after very well and as we got fully irrigated lands?
Average bunch weight of 40 kgs.

5.What type of irrigation you recommend?
Drip irrigation

6.How much is the current market rate for G9 Banana?
Rs 7 to 13 per kgs.

7.What is the life period of each plant?
Once planted you can have three crops continuously.
