Fertilizer question

Hello,

We are growing Ginger and Turmaric, the crop is 6 months now. I have given powder fertilizer 2 times and now I want to give fertilizer, some one said that to give spray fertilizer(19:19:19) rather than powder one. Can you please tell me which is good.

Soil application is also beneficial, u could give a single spray also.
