New here and delighted to find such an active interaction of some fine folks.

I am in need of information on the current practices of all aspects related to dry edible beans.

What are the major producing States/Provinces?
What are the methods employed to plant, cultivate and harvest dry edible beans?
What percentage is cultivated through human capital versus machinery (Harvesters/Combines)?
Links to good websites for any information related to Dry Edible Beans will be appreciated.

Thanks for the link. I had to google to find out that KVK is Krishi Vigyan Kendra, a nice little gem for my research I must add.

I am located in the USA.

According to this site (ERS/USDA Briefing Room - Dry Beans), India is the second largest producer of dry edible beans and I would like to learn current practices of the production chain.
