Doubt regarding compost

Hi All,
I have a doubt regarding compost preparation.
Iam preparing a compost out of just grass.
Iam just piling grass into a circle made of mesh and truning it once a week with damping.
Could you tell me if the grass pile is to be decomposed in the sun or in shade?

Zaheer,

You do it in shade. Composting is done by microbes; in hot sun they do not multiply.

Thankyou for your reply,
The reason why i got this doubt is i recently went through a video on youtube, which shows the preparation of simple grass compost done in sunlight.
Could you plz have a look at it?
