Diary farming

Hello ,

I would like to get a feed back about starting a small diary farming project near Hosur with around 25 cows in a 2 acre land.

I want to know how economically feasible is such a project.I would also like to understand from people who have already ventured into this industry a feedback along with pros and cons.

please also guide me on the various bank loans , subsidies, buyback price of milk etc.

I would also like to mention that i am from a non agriculture background.

I am also doing research on how to start and run dairy farming. I know some people out there have experience and very knowledgeable in dairy. Please share your knowledge and point me to resources where I can get more details information so that I can start from the scratch. Thank you very much for your help.
