Custom Duty on Importing Agricultural Machinery and Equipment

Does anybody know.... what kind of custom duty one has to pay to import agricultural machinery or equipment from abroad.... to my knowledge its only 5%.....please advice......

Hii,
machineries costing more than Rs.10000 are always chargeable to duty. If the importer does not want to deposit duty he can also give a Bank Guarantee from a reputed bank. The amount of deposit or Bank Guarantee would be 110% of the duties leviable on the goods.
