We want to cultivate turmeric in about 15 acres of land in district Muzaffarnagar of Uttarpradesh. Land is actually of mango orchards and poplar trees. Can any one give some idea how to proceed ? What processing unit should be optimal? where to get it ? What about market? Should we go for selling of turmeric powder or turmeric finger after boiling, drying and polishing? where to sell? what will be the economics? Please advice if any one have some idea.
