Cross Breeding Of Goats

I am looking for some information on cross breeding of goats.

1) What are the best types for foriegn and local breeds for cross breeding ?
2) Any standards that are practiced ?
3) I have heard that cross bredding offspring have lesser taste the Pure breed . Is it true ?
4) Any information Specific to Indian Breeds ?
