We have 75 Acres land near Marakkanam (135 Kms from Chennai, and 35 Kms from Pondicherry) with copious water and planning to acquire another 75 acres in the coming months. We plan to begin corporate farming and are inviting proposals from experts with a proven track record in the areas of agriculture, forestry, and horticulture / floriculture.
We are undertaking soil testing for the entire parcel and collecting the climatic / rain records of the last 10 years in the area so that the proposals can be shortlisted based on the suitability of the project to the terroir. This information will be shared with you subsequently.
We want to adopt the global best practices and embrace appropriate technology to run an efficient and productive farm.
We also want to engage a full time Farm manager to be based out of Pondicherry to champion this operation.
