Hello
I am starting to plant Hybrid Napier (Co3 variety) in our plot. I have sources to get either root slips or napier cuttings.
We are procuring the root slips are from napier which is about 2 yrs old and the owner wishes to remove the grass. We are uprooting the grass from the base and making smaller pieces of the whole plant.
My doubt is will this affect the yield in any way or does this have any drawbacks?
Or should I use cuttings from standing crop which is 6 months old.
Please suggest best possible ways to propagate napier.
Thanks
Nikhil
