Hello,
i am planning to set up a poly house in 1000 m2 area in himachal ,in which I am planning to cultivate carnation.
1. is it profitable to cultivate carnation???
2. what is the average annual income from this particular area.
3.how many flowers grow on a single plant in one cultivation period.
4.Average realized price for single carnation flower in market.????

Please help me out in it so i can go further.

if any other flower is more profitable than it then please also tell me about it.

You can grow carnation. IT grows well and fetches a good market price.
1. It is profitable to cultivate carnation ensuring you practice good cultivation practices.
2. Average income depends on the market price available.
3. It depends on which type of carnation you cultivate standard or spray type.
4. Average price you get per stalk varies with season. During nov to march you will get Rs 12 to 20 per stalkk, during other seasons RS5 per stalk

You can grow along with gernberas, calla lily, Asiatic lilies.
