I am from Kolhapur which is in Western Maharashtra and i want to cultivate vanilla plant in my farm. if it can be cultivated I am seeking guidance for entire project. I would like to know all details,investment per acre and also about market .

vanilla needs a warm and humid climate like that of west coastal region.. by the way why are u interested in vanilla..the sucess rate of vanill is very low..

only because its market demand and less cultivation in Maharashtra..i thought it'd be a good idea..what else do you suggest?? And please explain why success rate is low. . Thanks in advance
