I am planning to grow Mango, tamarind and lemon trees alternatively along the fence of my farm. Is it ok to do so

what should be the distance between mango and tamarind tree if it is ok to grow them alternatively

Dear ppathri0612,

As a thumb rule, the sunlight should reach the trees completely. Based on that, you need to find out the size(the width from the stem in both directions) of the fully grown mango tree, tamarind tree and lemon tree and leave that space while planting the seeds or grafted plants.

If you are saying you are going to plant these trees along the fence, please be cautious as to whether the fruits (mango, tamarind or lemon) will be out of the fence or inside the fence and also the possibility of theft, if any.

HI

Yes you can grow. HAve a spacing of 3 to 5 m depending on the mango variety used.
