budding

Budding is a grafting technique in which a single bud from the desired scion is used rather than an entire scion containing many buds. Most budding is done just before or during the growing season. However some species may be budded during the winter while they are dormant.

for example you want have rose buds then you need Root stocks of that crop(Root stocks means hordy wild plants who is supported by local conditions & not give good yields), Scion-upper portion or high yielding crop.
select one year old root stock and cured (we should select bud of high yielding plant which is ready to burst) scion we should make 2 cm long T or I shaped cut in the bark of root stock make a way to keep bud then place the scion bud , finally wrap the T or I shaped cut portion leaving scion bud tightly care should be taken to avoid water entry after one month this bud will sprout and become a budded plant.
