I am quite surprised to see several ads in this forums pricing agriculture 45lacs per acre / 50 lacs per acre around madhugiri... Being a native of this place wanted to bring into the notice that please please please be careful in dealing with those lands, title's clarity, EC issues, SC/ST title holdings... The land prices in this are shooting up like anything typically towards Sira (upto 1.2 crores per acre). this is because of the porposed NH 234 that runs from Mangalore to Villupuram in TN. The work has already been started from Sira towards madhugiri completing stretch by strecth... The expected completion of this around 37kms is mid 2013... So be careful in your moves and wish you good luck for a better deal.. Rgds, Pradeep
