bamboo or savukku plantation...?

hi,

i have 7 acres of agriculture land (kept idle for more than two decades) near singaperumal kovil (tamilnadu). i am planning to do something useful out of it, so it would be grateful if anyone provide me the following details. thanks in advance

1. which is more profitable, bamboo or savukku plantation (casuarina)...?
2. what will be cost of plantation for both...? (approx value)
3. is there any best idea than these two....?
 

Pradeep,

1. Both bamboo or savukku plantation (casuarina) are profitable if you make them useful.

2. Cost of plantation for both will not much more than approx value of rs.50/-at the time of planting.

There are plenty of opportunities are for you to grow trees. Go for having more diversity of plants for sustainability.
