Sandy soil and dry weather conditions are suitable for aloe vera cultivation.
Initial cost is not very high and you may get baby plants in few paisa or up to a rupee depending upon the size.
it is advised that plants may be sown at a distance of 3ft X 3ft

considering average yield of 2kg (3 leaves) per plant per harvest you can expect a return of Rs. 6 per plant per harvest (Maximum). So now u can multiply with no of plants to calculate total return per harvest. There can be 3 to 4 harvests per annum.
growth of all plants may not be equal you may get lower returns per harvest than expected.

Most important issue is the buyer. Go for Aloe cultivation only and only when ur sure about the buyers. At present market is quite unorganised so you may find it difficult to sell it.

i am trying to find out if gel can extracted at cultivater end , stored in drums and then can be supplied to end users as the raw material.
