Agriculture advice for farm land in Nanguneri, Tamilnadu

I am having some packet of land in Nanguneri, Tirunelveli Dist, Tamilnadu. I am planning to use it for agriculture / farm land using precision technology. I am new to agriculture so I need some advice and direction to start with i.e) Whom to contact, Huriculture, Any govt officer to discuss with etc . I would like to connect to some one in that area to discuss further.
