INAUGURATION OF BUSINESS INCUBATION CENTRE IN AGRICULTURE

In a step forward, to promote start-ups and new Jute/ Agri Business ventures, the BPD Unit at NIRJAFT has constructed Office Space Facility/ Business Incubation Centre at NIRJAFT in Kolkata. We are inaugurating the office space facility/ Business Incubation Centre on 25th September 2012 at 11:00 am. The Centre will be inaugurated by Hon'ble Director General of ICAR. Each office space will be around 170 sqft (Approximate) in size with basic facilities like furniture (basic), air conditioner and Wi-Fi connection and conference facilities. This service will be available on enrolment of Incubation Membership and space will be available on rental basis to the start-ups /new venture entrepreneurs as per standing norms of the institute. A special inaugural offer on the rent will be provided to the Agri Business/ Food Processing Start-ups on first come first serve basis.
On the same day, there will be an Agri Entrepreneurs Meet and Agri Exhibition in the same place. All the ICAR institutes will showcase their technologies in the Exhibition. In addition to this there will be a dsicussion session between Hon'ble DG ICAR and Agri Entrepreneurs participating in this Meet.
