Offers solutions to farmers in drought conditions
Advanta, an animal nutrition solution provideris well aware and concerned about farmers’ tribulations in South India due to severe drought conditions and not-so-good prediction for the monsoon. Consequently farmers are facing immense problems in feeding their cattle which eventually results in selling of livestock and this type of phenomenon happens quite often.
We as a company partnered with the government of Andhra Pradesh and Telengana to provide our best technology in forages which the government provided to the farmers in subsidy. ‘Nutrifeed’ one of our excellent product is highly suitable for drought conditions as it requires less water for cultivation and the farmer is able to take multiple cuts may be even 6-8 cuts in the season. Also the fodder quality is excellent which improves the health of animal and thus the productivity of animal increases.
Seeing the farmers facing such conditions of drought, we also partnered with states in Tamil Nadu to distribute our products and help the farmers to overcome such situation of pain. As in Tamil Nadu we observed that there were no such high quality forage products.Now the user farmers are able to take more fodder yield with less water apart from this we also advised the government to run ‘silage projects’ in their state to counter the deficiency of fodder.
Silage is an excellent means to support livestock during times of adversity as these are prepared when we have abundant resources and can be stored for more than a year without spoilage.Silage also improves the health of animals as it is more nutritive and digestible. For fodder and silage purpose we have provided ‘Sugargraze’ which requires comparatively less water and fodder silage quality is excellent in areas where water is less. As on date the government has passed huge tenders for supplying Silage to meet the shortage of forage in their constituency.
Advantahas also been partnering with international organizations in providing cutting edge technology for production of high quality silage. We have helped in setting up of huge silage manufacturing units to enable the institutions to supply high quality silage to meet the requirements of the states.
