About jersey cows

I am kamalhasan doing my degree,as i was intrested in cattle farming.I need to get some information regarding the production of jersey cows.
.what's the price of a small cow?
.where could i find best breed near to my town?
.as i want to start with 10 breeds,how much investment should i put on them?

Jersey is an exotic breed

* Age at first calving : 26-30 months
* Intercalving – 13-14 months
* Milk yield – 5000-8000 kgs
* Dairy milk yield is found to be 20 lts whereas cross bred jersey, cow gives 8-10 lts per day.
* In India this breed has acclimatized well especially in the hot and humid areas.

The other breeds of cows are HF, Sahiwal, Gir,THarparkar, red sindhi etc.
