On popular request a 5 day workshop on organic farming is being organized near Bangalore in March 2012. Participants will be taught how to make their own organic manures and biopesticides and to deal with some common problems faced by all farmers. Printed literature will be provided for future reference.

Pesticide residues can be eliminated from the soil within 6-12 months by following the methods taught in the workshop. Soil fertility will also improve appreciably leading to a 20-50% increase in crop production. The methods taught are organic and low cost. They have been adopted by the tea and coffee gardens of India where they have worked beautifully. Now, for the first time these very methods are being made known to small and medium growers.

Fruit growers, flower growers, paddy farmers, vegetable growers, herb growers-all types of farmers can benefit greatly by attending this workshop. Personal attention will be given to each participant and workshop size will be small. For dates, venue, fees etc. of workshop, Amin Manjrekar can be contacted in Bangalore at nine nine eight six three three four eight six two.

Else send me a PM with your contact number so that details can be sent to you.

Many young people in the IT industry who have either bought farms recently or are thinking of buying farms soon are joining this workshop. Their concerns and problems will be addressed in this workshop. Those in the biotechnology sector have also expressed an interest in this workshop as have people with established farms and nurseries.*

Spots are limited so hurry to ensure your participation in the workshop. It is the opportunity of a lifetime. Happy farming and gardening!
