Can some one who is already running dairy farms clarrify the land requirement for green fodder?
As per KVK's and other government resources 1acre is required to feed 5cows. However, i believe that we can feed upto 10animals with 1acre of green fodder like Napier. Since the latest types of napier such as co-4 / RBN production is touching nearly 100tons per acre per year, we can easily feed 10animals based on 30-35kg greens per day per animal.
Please clarrify me.
