The seeds are the size of a small pea are black in colour and are very hard. There are up to about six seeds in each fruit - The friut itself is a small variety bought from market stalls in Thailand. - When ripe, it is delicious - full of natural sugars.

I nearly broke a tooth eating a banana today.........I didn't know bananas had such big seeds!.........I suspect the old species had seeds and we have bred them out for commercial purposes over time?......Am I right?
