Dear Sir,
I am planning to start stall fed Sheep farming in Karnataka using silage, but due to scarcity of water in my place I am not able to grow fodder. So I am planning to feed the sheeps with suppliments but when I calculated the income and expenditure if I feed suppliments its loss in business as maintaining a sheep by feeding suppliments comes to 12rs per day. Whereas silage costs 5rs per day with 4kgs of growth in one month.

Sir, i have completed my graduation in Agriculture and looking forward to start a goat farm along with some local breeds of chicken. So, i would like to have your advice as to how i should initiate it;whether to start it on a large scale or on a smaller one?
And also,what should be the feeding system i should go in for goats, garzing or stall feeding?
