Please contact the forest department of your area. They are your best guide. In Karnataka the department provides saplings at subsidized rates and also some money to raise the same for a few years.
The only hurdle is at the time of cutting the trees as the required permissions are hard to get.
Sir. Teak will take a very long time to yield Economically, also the paperwork felling, harvesting and transport is tedious. Please consider bamboo plantation instead. I have teak in my family farm but the runaround the forest department has put me off.
