oil palm. you can get 8 ton /acre/year after 6-7 years now price 4000 / ton in tamilnadu = 4000x8=32000 expenditure 2 ton / acre net 6 ton *4000=24000 you can get per acre. positve : every 10 days onec you get income. negative: 1)more water 2)harvest and transport 3)not very good income...
